Law
The only sector with a public case list. Courts have sanctioned filings built on citations that do not exist, and verifying every authority was already a professional duty before any of this.

Banking and capital markets
Supervisors do not ask whether the model was accurate. They ask what was said, on what basis, and whether you can produce it. That is a records question, and an answer being AI-assisted does not change what must be produced.

Healthcare and life sciences
Audit trails here are stricter than anywhere else in commercial practice, and the tools arriving carry no provenance at all. A transcription that inserts a sentence nobody said is a safety problem before it is a compliance one.

One requirement runs through all of them
Every rule above expects you to show what a statement rests on. Most AI tools cannot: they hand you the statement and leave you to work out where it came from. CiteOnly answers with the source attached, so what these rules ask for is already in the answer.
